24" tapered octagon-to-round barrel of Krupp fluid steel with full-length

integral matted rib and two folding express sights, recoil lug and sling-

swivel barrel tie-down. Figured walnut stock by Seymour Griffin with

schnabel forend, capped pistol grip, double-beaded pancake cheekpiece,

hand-checkered steel trapdoor buttplate, sling swivels and checkering

embellished with fleur-de-lys details. Springfield 1903 action with intact

cocking piece, checkered bolt knob and Lyman 48 receiver sight. Weight:

8lbs, 14oz. Pull: 14 1/4". Built in the 1920s. 99% barrel & action blue, 80%

bottom metal blue. Excellent bore. With custom dies.  $5995.


The following, not this exact rifle; but another virtually identical from the same run and five serial numbers apart, sold at Amoskeag, April 2016, for $10,350.
