Fine scroll engraved, case-colored lock with swept rainproof pan, ventilated pan-cover with long-limbed roller- bearing frizzen, flat-sided hammer and platinum-lined touch hole. Varnished, figured walnut stock with horn forend tip, crosspin fastener with engraved escutcheons, checkered grip, teardrops, pineapple finial and vacant silver escutcheon. Scroll engraved pistol-grip triggerguard. Brass-tipped ramrod retained under barrel with three pipes. Weight: 6lbs, 3oz. Retaining most all of its original finish and possibly unfired. Automatic top tang safety with SAFE inlaid in gold. Weight: 6lbs, 11oz. Birmingham proved under the rules of 1904 - 1925 for 1 1/4oz loads. Virtually all the original finishes intact. Tight.
