4 3/4" barrel. Adjustable rear sight. Checkered walnut grips. Inspector mark

20 on upper right side of triggerguard. Two-tone magazine. S/N 3567. 1st

year production 1931. 99%blue.

Basic Belgian pocket pistol---see Matthews, Vol .II, p 42. Black hardrubber

grips replaced with those from another similar brand of pistol. With small

H W Mortimer, Cased Pair Sidelock Flintlock .64 calibre $8,950

London Pistols

7" flat-topped round damascus smoothbore barrels with brass bead front

sights, engraved LONDON. V-notch rear sights. Stocked to the muzzles and

with fully checkered bag-handled grips and with vacant silver escutcheons

atop wrists. Lightly-engraved sidelock actions with rain-proof pans, roller-

bearing frizzens, and sliding safeties. Long-tang triggerguard with pineapple

finials. Brass-tipped ramrods with worm retained in fire-blued pipe. In

retailer R. Essex's green-baize-lined oak case with bullet mold, oil bottle,

powder flask, cleaning rod with tips, flints, balls, turnscrew, and bone-

handled brush. Retaining 80% barrel brown, 90% original high-polish blue

on triggerguards, traces of original casehardening colors on locks. Even the

engraver's stadia lines for the maker's name are still visible on the lockplates.


Remington Rand 1911A1 .45 ACP $8,000

Experimental Remington Rand Series

5" barrel. No markings whatsoever but serial number on frame and HS on

barrel. Keyes Fibre checkered brown plastic grips with strengthening ribs

and without reinforcing rings. Blued small parts. Checkered hammer and

slide stop. Lanyard loop mainspring housing. Unmarked single-tone

magazine. S/N ERRS 63. Mfd 1943. 98% parkerized.

numbers. Magazine proofed Eagle/88. 98%blue. Very good bore. S/N 4170
