Description: Two, 26" tapered round barrels with interrupted threads, set-back Dan'l Fraser-style full band front sights with fine beads and flip-up twilight beads, full-band swivel bases, quarter ribs, 1 standing and 1 folding gold-lined express sights regulated for 100 and 300 yards and a double gld band at each breech. Stock by Martin Hagn of exhibition burled Turkish walnut from Hartmann & Weiss, with Hartmann & Weiss takedown system, classic mullered-border point-pattern checkering, teardrops, ebony forend tips, beaded pancake cheekpiece, trapdoor pistol grip cap, rear swivel, vacant gold oval and engraved steel buttplate. Hagn falling block action with integral extended tangs both top and bottom, sliding top tang safety with SAFE in gold, ejector, Hagn single-set trigger mechanism with sculptured trigger made by Don Klein. Matching Zeiss and Hensolt 1.6 - 6x scopes with tapered post and crossbars reticles on quick-detachable rail-fitted claw mounts. Fully engraved by Hans Eisbacher on coin-finished receiver: thoughtful mountain lion heads on left and right, another (full body) stalking in a tree on loading lever, all surrounded with intertwined acanthus scroll. The border scroll virtually identical to that on the Hartmann & Weiss Hagn pictured on page 162 - 162 of Nobili's Fine European Gunmakers. Calibres, maker's name and serial number in gold. Pull: 13 7/8". Weight: 8lbs, 14oz with scope. Built 2001. Unfired. In Huey takedown oak & heavy elephant-hide-textured leather case with maker's label, engraved deluxe horn-handled accessories and leather-bound canvas overcase.

Provenance: Purchased by Hallowell & Co. in February, 2011, from the original owner who had commissioned it directly from Martin Hagn.
