Highly figured, H-pattern checkered walnut stocks with horn-inlaid S-curve

pistol grip and smooth steel buttplate. Casehardened action, marked Model

1886 [only] on the top tang. 2/3 magazine. Mfd. 1894. Retaining 50%

casehardening on action and lever, 95% blue on barrel and magazine.
