| stocks with Anson pushbutton-release splinter forend, classic point-pattern |
| checkering with mullered borders, straight English grip, beaded-edge |
| triggerguard, teardrops, and vacant gold initial oval. Sidelock action with |
| Holland & Holland-type assisted-opening mechanism, automatic ejectors, |
| gold-line cocking indicators, and maker's name inlaid in gold. Game scene |
| engraved by Ken Hunt and with pheasants in flight on left, a covey of flying |
| grouse on right, and mallards landing on the underside, all surrounded with |
| acanthus scroll. Signed on both lockplates and microscopically on |
| underside of receiver. Weight: 6lbs, 9oz. Built 1989. 99%blue and 99% |
| casehardening colors, Tight, and with excellent bores. Ejectors in perfect |
| time. In maker's leather trunk case with numerous engraved accessories and |
| heavy canvas overcase.
