Dakota Arms Model 76 Prototype for Beretta .270 Win.  

24" tapered round barrel. Figured walnut stock with ebony forend tip,

classic borderless point-pattern checkering---wrapping fully under the

forend, steel-capped pistol grip, classic comb with beaded cheekpiece, and

solid black Dakota recoil pad. Dakota 76 controlled-feed action with rounded

rear tang, Model 70-type safety, non-hinged straddle floorplate with

"release" inside triggerguard allows removal of magazine box and floorplate

together. Dakota built 200 actions for Beretta; then Beretta made their own.

Pull: 13 3/4". Weight: 7lbs, 2oz. Never before offered for sale. Virtually new
