26" tapered round Ruger barrel with Buehler scope mount base. Densely figured, oil finished European walnut stock with angled ebony forend tip, classic wrap-around point-pattern checkering, crisp flat sidepanels, slight palmswell, checkered steel pistol grip cap, swivel studs, classic comb with beaded cheekpiece, and checkered steel buttplate. All metalwork finished matte blue. Canjar single-set trigger. Pull: 13 3/8". Weight: 8lbs, 11oz. Rate of twist: 1:14 or 15 as measured with a tightly patch cleaning rod. Built by Monte Kennedy in 1975 on 4-digit Ruger No.1 action mfd in 1968. New condition.
