 24" tapered round barrel with ivory bead front sight and Rocky Mountain

rear sight. Highly figured factory stock of American black walnut with

ebony-inlaid schnabel forend tip, H-checkering and crescent buttplate. Fine

scroll engraved by Alvin A White on receiver, lever, hammer, heel of

buttplate, 2 inches onto breech and 1 inch onto muzzle. Gold inlaid cape

buffalo head on left, gold inlaid tiger on right, gold inlaid elephant on

breechblock and small gold inlaid engraver's touchmark on underside. Gold

bands at each end of barrel. Casehardened hammer and buttplate. Originally

built 1915. 99%+blue.   $14,650.
