Description: 25 1/2" barrel with full-band front sight and swivel base, quarter rib with 1 standing and 2 folding express sights. Highly figured walnut stock with ebony forend tip with widow's peak, beaded-edge flat sidepanels, double-beaded cheekpiece, classic point-pattern checkering with English-style mullered borders, inletted rear swivel base, skeleton pistol grip cap and buttplate---checkered within. Case-hardened, scalloped-back action body. Leupold Matte-finished Vari-X III 3.5-10x scope on Talley QD mounts. Extensively engraved by Ron Smith: casehardened and gold-bordered front sight base, swivel base, quarter rib, scope mounts, action, PG cap and buttplate all engraved with gold-accented scroll. Cougar feasting on mule deer and with vignette of cougar head in multiple colors of gold on left. Bobcat with rabbit and vignette of bobcat head in multiple colors of gold on right. 13 5/8"pull. Weight: 8lbs, 14oz. Built 1993. Virtually new. Oak and leather case by Ray Sterck with accessories and custom knife by L Pendleton. Winner of First Annual Guns Magazine Award of Excellence - 1995. Maurice Ottmar's masterpiece.

Provenance: Purchased in April, 2001 by Hallowell & Co. from the original owner who had commissioned it from the individual craftsmen.
