Description: 27" tapered round barrel of Boehler Spezial steel with full-length matted rib, swivel, raised bead front sight, 1 standing and 1 folding leaf sight. Figured English walnut stock with horn capped pistol grip, Anson-pushbutton-release splinter forend, beaded pancake cheekpiece, sling swivel and grooved horn buttplate. Fine rose & scroll engraved boxlock action with sideplates, intercepting sear, double underbites, double Kersten locks, double set triggers, bushed firing pin, automatic safety with SAFE in gold and extended tangs both top and bottom. Hensolt Dialytan 4x scope with post and crossbars reticle on soldered half-ring quick-detachable claw mounts. Gold letters RL inletted into underside of forend. 13 5/8" pull. Weight: 7lbs, 15oz with scope, 7lbs without. Built 1934. Little used, retaining 99%blue and 98% case colors. Tight action. Excellent bore.
