Description: 24 1/2" tapered round gold-banded Krieger barrel with sculptured ramp front sight and swivel base, quarter rib with 1 standing and 1 folding express sight. Stocked with highly figured walnut by Don Klein with ebony forend tip, beaded sidepanels, double-beaded pancake cheekpiece, trapdoor steel pistol grip cap, classic ribbon and point-pattern checkering with mullered borders "disappearing" behind smooth sidepanels, inletted and pedestalled rear swivel base and leather-covered recoil pad. Hagn falling block action by Hartmann & Weiss, extensively reshaped, rounded and scalloped by Don Klein with sleek custom underlever, custom trigger, custom shotgun-style triggerguard and sliding top-tang safety. Engraved by Bob Swartley with full coverage intertwining acanthus scroll, subtle gold borderline detailing and SAFE and FIRE in gold. Schmidt & Bender 10 x 42 scope with duplex reticle on completely custom, one-of-a-kind mounts designed and hand made by Don Klein: double-lever rings feature expanding male dovetails which lock into integral corresponding recesses in quarter rib. Engraved coverplates supplied for female recesses when used without scope. Metal finishing by Pete Mazur: casehardened action with gold-plted internals, the remainder cold rust blued and with fire-blued small parts. Pull: 14 1/4". Weight: 8lbs, 14oz, with scope. In Huey full-length oak and leather trunk case with natural white-handled Pendleton drop-point hunting knife engraved by Bob Swartley. William Crowley horn-handled turnscrews, cleaning accessories and brass oil bottles, also engraved by Bob Swartley. With leather-trimmed canvas overcase. Loading dies and 300 brass cases.
