Custom Winchester 1885 Low Wall .22 Long Rifle. Engraved by Albin Obiltschnig.

Description: Winchester Low Wall action, grey etched receiver with magnificent three-dimensional relief game scene engraving by Albin Obiltschnig, a woodland scene with foxes and grouse on the left side and foxes and rabbits on the right, remainder of receiver covered with deep-chiseled acanthus scroll. 24" half-octagon barrel with full solid rib, 1 standing & 1 folding express sight, very finely checkered highly figured walnut, horn forend insert, original Winchester shotgun buttplate and PG cap, Huey French-fitted oak and leather case with whie handled accessories and canvas overcase. Pre-WWII German commercial proofs. Weight: 5lbs 1oz. New condition.
